Hi David,
Well, since my earliest days in electronics, before I was a ham, my sister
always marked the negative (Black) wires for me. So, I just kept on in this
tradition. Thus, which ever way works for you. Just a word of warning. Be
sure to understand what tradition the person you are buying gear from uses.
Other wise one might end up with a nasty ssurprise.
