Kent, the inside knob on the lower right is the audio gain. The inside knob
to the left of it is either the high slope adjustment on phone or the filter
offset on cw, no effect on fsk.

I hope to talk with you when I get going on the radio. Right now I'm trying
to get familiar with the controls. I'm really looking forward to getting on
the air.

I do have another question though that you can probably help me with. What
is the function of the inside knobs of both the bottom right rotary knob and
the rotary knob immediately to the left of the bottom right knob? I
downloaded the description of the front panel from IcanWorkThisThing.com.
The file was really a good description but it didn't identify what the
inside knobs' functions were.

Thank you a bunch,
Kent KK4FFF

Hi Kent,

Hope you are enjoying the radio. I did forget to mention the raised
dots for the RCA jacks, but I had noticed them earlier. I don't
recall if I ever knew about the bumps for the antennas, but maybe 2 months
ago John WA2U from NY who sometimes checks into the 40 meter roundtable had
mentioned it to me and I found the dots for the RCA jacks
when I started feeling around the rear panel to see what else might be
there.

Hope to catch you on the air sometime.
