As a post script to my message about the tree that fell a week ago and did 
the least possible damage that could have been done for such a big tree. 
Yesterday afternoon as the gust front went through with a thunderstorm, we 
had a gust of wind of over 50 miles per hour from the south.  If that tree 
had been standing in its weakened condition, it would have smashed our house 
big time.  We are very lucky!
