I absolutely *love* my KX3. It's a super little rig, and the morse readout is very good. It doesn't read the menus yet, and changing the keyer speed changes the readout speed until you power cycle again. I thought about a Hampod myself, which would be great for using at home, but I don't know about portable. But because I need an excuse to learn some programming, I want to put together a KX3 controller for the menu and other things based on the Raspberry Pi and a USB keypad. We'll see if I can some day pull it off.
