It is a nice little box.  I got one of the first ones back in the early 
70's.  It has two rocker switches in the lower right of the front panel, 
keep the lefthand one down which disableds the driver and final power 
amplifier stages.  The upper right knob is an antenna preselector, just tune 
it for maximum noise.  I think on that rig the AF gain and RF gain were 
concentric controls.
