Mary,
I have a friend who is an experienced trim carpenter as well as historic
timber framer who lives up that way. His specialty is bridge restoration
but he may be interested in doing some lighter work as well. He has a
special interest in wooden gutters, though not of the period you are
speaking of. His name is Will Truax at [log in to unmask] I'm sure he
would be able to refer a qualified local craftsman in any event.

Best Of Luck,
David Dauerty

Subject: [BP] Wooden gutters

Do any of you know a source for or a craftsman who makes wooden
gutters? (within working-distance of Exeter, NH). Failing that, can
you point me to a print or internet information resource? The need is
for a 1939 wood-frame Cape/Georgian eclectic style house.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks!

Mary
