Well so much for your antenna tuning procedure. Just kidding, hope it
isn't fried.
Before putting it in the box,I'd spend a day head scratching and trying
to work through it systematically. We always think the worst and
sometimes it is just pilot error.
Was it actually in TX when it failed? Did you smell or hear anything
odd? Does the rig have a reset? Have you tried going into a dummy
load with a known good coax?
I'm not suggesting you don't know what you are doing, I just know from
my own experiences that sometimes I'm ready to plan the funeral when
the patient isn't really dead.
