Hi,
It's not very hard to find, There's a link to Notetaker related stuff on the
Downloads page. You can go to:
http://www.freedomscientific.com/downloads/notetaker/noteaccess.asp
and find the link you need. You'll want the July 2003 revision, the last one
Freedom Scientific created for the Braille Lite 40. Be sure to load the
firmware build on both the a and b sides. Don't run different revision
builds on the two sides.

If you've removed the little battery, you've lost everything in ram storage,
the date and time and any speech parameters and other settings you've
personalized. I believe the contents of flash memory may still be retained,
though I don't remember for sure. I'm also not sure if the folder structure
is retained if the little battery is removed. If it isn't and you used
folders in flash, be sure that folders are turned off. This will let you go
to the flash system and view all files in one monolithic flash folder.

Best regards,

Ron Miller

It's still on the site but you have to really dig for it.
