Good morning all from a super hot Phoenix,

With respect to updating license data, I did it myself on the FCC page, but
it was several years ago since I made the changes, and I can't recall how
difficult, or easy, it was. The bottom line is that it was possible for me
to make the changes myself.

The only comments I can make re moving accross country, is that when I
transferred from Cambridge, Mass to Phoenix AZ, it was a trivial exercise
because my employer at the time took care of, and paced for, everything
related to the move. With respect to my personal property, I only had to
let the movers in to my apartment in Cambridge to pickup my stuff, and again
to show up here in Phoenix to let them unload everything into my new house,
and place it where I wanted it.
If I recall correctly, Allied Van Lines performed my move. I don't know if
they are still around. Apparently, we have lost many of the large moving
companies over the years, as many people simply pack everying up in a large
rented trruck, and drive it to the new location themselves.

As long as you have your frn number and password you can change your license

info on the fcc web site. As for moving everything across the country, I
can't help you there never done it though at this point I'll take a job
anywhere and there is nothing in New England to speak of so it's not totally

unrealistic I might have to do the same thing. Likely though I'd just sell
out all but the essentials and start totally over again.
