Forgot about the Tecksuns you mentioned,/never played with one
unfortunately!  There's still quite a bit of international shortwave,
BBC is heard, although it's more the world service and not so much
designed for North America.  I appreciate all of you, and Ron, the
radio you have may indeed be the g4, I just didn't find any reference
to one without a player/recorder, which indeed is a nice touch.  Kaito
has some lil radios with mp3 recorders as do some other manufacturers.
