So right, John! Any kind of art has to involve letting go of the edges of
things (like leaving the side of a pool and swimming in the water) - we dare
to do without the control that comes from following our usual guidelines.
Maybe it is a way of blurting out the truth without trying to predict what
will happen. A few people seem to do this easily, but for most of us it
requires a lot of psyching up.
