Hi Butch,

Yes please to the menu list!I'm putting together a front panel layout that
I'll make available in due course. I've been through all the controls
today, and there are quite a few pleasant surprises. Totally different from
the 590. You need to infer quite a few controls or use beeps, and I
actually like this approach, but the talking tables for setting parameters
such as setting the power for each band and adjusting the fine detail for
each equaliser setting are brilliant.

I don't have the radio for long, and I get the feeling I'm going to miss
lots <smile>!

Best wishes, Kelvin Marsh - M0AID

Yep, it is quite a radio. I'm still learning mine. Talks very well
though. BTW, if you want a numbered listing of the assignable
functions, I can send you one. When you go into the menu to assign
them, all it speaks are numbers, although the screen tells you what it
is. The manual lists these, but didn't number them. I added numbers,
so I can tell what number does what.
