i have my ducks in a better row now.  I am attempting to help a 
friend with a Radio Shack PRO2018 scanner.  Does anyone have any hand 
on experience with this scanner and/or documentation?  If I press 
various buttons on the left side of the keypad I can access, I 
believe the pre-programmed service types but can't figure out how to 
enter a particular frequency.  Also I have done a reset using a paper 
clip and the small hole on the back of the chassis but this didn't 
make any changes.
Eventually I will have a pair of eyeballs over and then it will get a 
lot easier but I'd like to make some progress if I can.
