Yesterday, Saturday, our youngest son was married for the second time. His
first wife left him and her children a couple of years ago and now lives an
unholy, and ungodly, live style. In the mean while, Everett met another
lady, Everett is coming up on 34 years of age, and yesterday, with about 70
of his friends and family as witnesses, they were married. We were at an
outdoor setting up in the mountains at about 8000 feet. Although it had
rained the day before, Saturday, at that elevation, it was partly cloudy,
with the sun coming through with its warmth from time to time, and a
traditional mountainous breeze that came and went. Sandy was asked to sing,
which worked out well, because they had a portable public address system set
up and they played the instrumental background music which she sang to. You
couldn't have asked for a better day and ceremony and friends and family
came to join with us. The wedding location was about 30 miles from our
home. Our oldest son was his little brother's best man and he flew in for
the wedding this week. Many of our grandchildren were with us, too. The
food and cake was even good. One of our close family friends came and she
is 94 years of age and still in good health. So, it was a good day. Many
troubles tried ruining this event, some even occurring the day of the
wedding but it all worked out for good. Many of our son's Karate friends
were there including the man who conducted the ceremony. Even Everett's new
wife he met at a Karate tournament. Alicia has her second degree Karate
black belt and his also a massage therapist. Everett has his 4th degree
Karate black belt. They wrote their own vows and spoke them to each other
which really added a very personal touch to their wedding. Some of you new
about this and have been praying so thank you.
Phil.
