Hi Jim,

I posted the link for the TS-2000 accessibility review a bit earlier, but
there is also a link to a text file of the front panel layout on the page.
It's at:

As a new Kenwood 2000 user, where is the a equals b key? I find
the observation that the older 2000's are less sensitive than the
newer ones kind of disheartening, especially because I got the
this rig not only for HF, but for 2 meter SSB. Jim WA6EKS

You're right. I can tell with mine if I did it because I have
the beep
volume turned way down.

what did you screw up? you can do a full or partial reset.
Partial won't
kill all your memories and tuner settings like the full reset
does.
Press the A equals B key while powering the radio on. Give it a
second
after powering on then hit the A equals B key again to confirm.

I think the partial reset is the same but with the A plus B key.

You'll know you've done it if you have the speech synth turned
down a bit
 from default...it'll come back loud.

 Hi all,
I screwed up my TS-2000 and need to do a full reset. I thought
I had =
saved the procedure for doing this. Can anyone share this?
Thanks.
