The car radio does have a button to push for HD radio, but my understanding 
is that if a given station has HD radio capability, you can go to their 
primary frequency first.  After a few seconds, the HD stuff will kick in, 
after which you can use the regular tuning knob to get any HD stations that 
might be in the area, along with the regular analog ones.

I'm going to have to experiment with it more, when I get near Grand Rapids 
again.

My home qth in Big Rapids is about 55 miles north of Grand Rapids, which may 
make things a bit challenging until then.
