Hi Mike,
It really surprises me that no IC-7400s made it to the States<smile>! I
guess the IC-7400 was around for about 15 years from the late 90s until 2010
or so. When Icom recently brought out the IC-7410 without 2m, I think a lot
of people were disappointed, because to many, the 7400 was the perfect
radio.
In the same sized box as the 7410 is the new IC-9100. This covers HF, 6m,
2m, 70cm, and 23cm. It has a voice chip, and I did not mention it to Gery
because of the large price tag! I'd be interested to know if anyone on the
list has tried a 9100.
BTW, there is an accessibility review of the IC-7400 on the Active Elements
site.
Best wishes, Kelvin Marsh - M0AID

That one was not released in the States.
The more or less equivalent model here is the IC7410, which
does not include 2 meters.

Hi Gery,
Another radio with HF plus 6m and 2m is the Icom IC-7400.
Recently
discontinued, but accessible apart from the memories. The
most accessible
radio for the bands from 160 to 70cm and multi-mode is the
TS-2000, and the
memories are voiced, for repeater use.
Both are reviewed for accessibility on the Active Elements
site.
