yes, it is the A key, which is the key in the top right hand corner of the 
keypad.
Press and hold for 1 second to toggle the keypad lock on and off.  When 
toggling on, you will hear a single higher pitched beep, then a slightly 
lower pitch beep.  When you toggle the lock off, you'll hear the first high 
beep, then a second much lower sounding beep to indicate the off 
state...this is pretty universal on the th f6a as far as what the pitch of 
the beep is indicating.
When the keypad lock is on, you can turn the multi-select knob at the top 
and you will hear a repetative high beep.  If the lock is toggled off, then 
the multi-select knob will function normally as will the rest of the keypad 
etc.
BTW, when the keypad lock is on, the radio will still transmit and the 
moni/squelch button on the side will still function..
