Well I am ok with the fact that my mother in law and father in law let their concerns be known. I always did get along with them and we joke about seeing and not. I have a son the is 23 now but due to financial issues my wife was working when my son was born. I raised him and he is ok. I guess if the person I fell in love with were blind it would have worked out too.
Since we are open and honest, I must say that many of you seem more independent than I am. I don't go many places alone and a big issue is when I go some where with my wife, the issue of getting around in the men's room bothers me. It is really embarrassing to have to ask for help but you have to go. Curious on how others handle this situation. I am totally blind and have to artificial eyes so no light or shadow perception. In spite of my lack of independence, I am assistant director of the county sheriff's office IT division.
