Here is a link to a page all about the fl-7000. They talk about an
interface to the ts-850, which is an absolutely wonderful sounding and quite
accessible radio. It is not made any more, but it or the ts-870, or the
little brother the ts-570, would all make the list of wonderful radios for
you.
The SSB high fidelity guys seem to love the 850 and 870. Their are many
options out there for you, and people will be very helpful here. We all
will probably have our own personal biasses. It depends on what you want,
can afford, and like.
Do you run CW? Data modes? SSB? A.M? which bands? what kinds of antennas?
base or portable operation? Is space an issue? Radio is endless.

Anyway here is the link.
