the th f6a software is very accessible and free as well. Actually much more
user friendly than the ADMS software.
The USB programming cable is the same one used for the wouxun and newer
baofeng radios, so it's also very cheap to perchase online.....like 6 bucks
or so plus shipping.
If you want a good solid reliable back up dual band handy talky, the baofeng
UV5R gets my top vote...at 50 bucks you really can't go wrong and it's just
as reliable and functional as any radio out there.
