Thanks to Mike Dane, W7ALX, for pointing out the obvious problem to me.  I 
just needed to use the Adjust sound menu under Tools.  I guess the sound 
needs to be adjusted from EchoLink itself and not from the Volume settings 
in the task tray.

This really isn't a blind hams issue, but this is the only active ham list
I'm on.

I'm using Windows Vista on a Toshiba laptop.  For some reason, EchoLink
won't or can't use my built-in RealTek soundcard and mic.  I get no volume
using the test server.  However, skype works fine with my setup.

Any ideas?
