If the Omni D gets 80 watts out, and the ts-480 gets 43 watts out on the 
same frequency, with the same cables, the same meter, and the same dummy 
load, it is reasonable to assume that their is a problem.
On other bands, the same two radios have similar outputs.
We therefore have eliminated every variable, except the performence of the 
two radios on the same band.
