We just got a honeywell wireless doorbell a year or so ago. It is
electronic and has several options for chimes but some of them sound
excellent -- not fake at all. I use the westminster chime selection which
is nice because it lasts for a few seconds so you're not in a remote part of
the house wondering if you just heard the doorbell. Also, since it's
wireless, I can pick it up and take it down to the shack if we're expecting
a delivery or something and I need to be sure to hear it. It cost around 50
bucks. I don't have the model number off hand but I can get it if you're
interested. 73, lou
