Best APT conference ever...but I say that every year just after returning to the real world of proposals and deadlines. It was a refreshing and useful change and I loved seeing and meeting so many interesting people.
Like David, I talked to Rudy and Laura, but only a quick "hello" to Mike. Met two "down-under" guys besides David, and liked the idea of sharing concrete stories at an Australian chapter meeting.
Lots of Park Service and other US agency people were there, more than I expected, and there was a lot enthusiasm for the variety and quality of projects presented. I enjoyed being part of that on Saturday afternoon, but Ann and I had to expend extra energy to keep our audience focused, euphimism for awake.
All in all, great fun! I look forward to next year in Victoria!
