Now, here is somebody who wants to be on 160 meters in the worst kind
of way.

I hear regular mobiles down there now and then, but this would be
rather interesting, not to mention a big challenge.

Subject: [QRP-L] 160 Meter Pedestrian Mobile Ops, 30 Nov. 2102þ

i will be operating Pedestrian Mobile tonight with an 8 foot whip
during theARRL 160 meter CW contest, See
<http://www.arrl.org/160-meter>.i have worked many stations in the
past contests. The guys who operate this contest are the big guns of
160 and they have big antennae and can hear weak stations.i don't
really 'enter' the contest and submit logs, i just try to see if
anyone can copy me.Better get your /pm rig out and tune up the antenna
during the day time. It gets cold outside at night.Paul
