Although no reason has been given, the Library of Congress has restored many of its web sites that had been taken down when the government shut down earlier this week. Among them is the bard site. Of course, nothing new will be added as long as the shut-down lasts but it's good to have the site back. As was pointed out earlier, since it's automated, there's no reason to keep it off-line. Happy reading. Lou WA3MIX
