Hi All,

Although I think AM and FM radio pretty much stinks today compared to what
it used to be, I still will not let go of my GE Super Radio 2 for anything.
I think I also have a 3 around here some place, too. I've seen the C Crane
radios and they can't begin to compare with either one of the GE's.

Kris

I miss my old ge super radio 2 i don't even know what happened to it =
but god I miss it it used to sit under my bed and i would reach down =
and turn it on it was soooo clear and picked up stuff that shouldn't = hav
been possible it out did my hf rig with 80 meter dipole and it = outdid my
pioneer fm tuner with a rooftop antenna with it's built in = whip. adding
the rooftop antenna didn't even help it strangely enough. = when I had it I
lived in Idaho Falls and could pick up kzdx burley = which is a good 140+
miles away, and actually on a goo day could snag =
107.9 out of salt lake 210 miles away th best radio I ever had though = was
a pioneer VSX 5500S STEREO RECEIVER with an out door antenna feeding = just
it the antenna was 20 ft up and pointed for salt lake. I could get =
several salt lake stations from 195 or so miles away from my parents = place
on the farm between shelley and Idaho Falls :) it was amazing back = in the
day before they added more station s to the IF market and = saturated the
area with noise and trash from a dirty transmitter that = was never fixed
