Hi everybody!
No, I was not on the net, as I'm only a tech. However, I was on the
landline with my sweetheart KD8PC at the time. I heard a man named Raul
KB5ZOT check in, and he was talking about the fact that he is a musician. I
looked him up on the WM7D database, and sure enough he's who I thought he
was. His name is Raul Midon. I don't know much about him musically, other
than the fact that I believe he falls under the R&B category. I am actually
listening to a Herbie Hancock CD called "Possibilities" as I write this. He
is featured on this CD doing a rendition of "I Just Called To Say I Love
You" and I believe Stevie was on there playing the harmonica. Also, when I
lived in Atlanta and worked as a Braille production specialist for Fulton
County government, I had to Braille something for him when he performed at
the National Black Arts Festival in 2005. I just wanted to share this with
you all. I just thought it was really cool to hear him today, and find out
he is a ham.
