Hi All,
I finally have an update to my "keyer question". The plug coming out of the paddle mechanism is a stereo plug but it has been wired as a mono plug. Now all I gotta do is get someone to resolder the connections and I'll have a happy keyer that plugs into the 590. Thanks to all who provided input on my questions.

  Hi All
I am trying to get my '590 to work on CW and am having a problem. When I plug in my keyer all I get are dots, no dashes. What is the best keyer to play nicely with the '590?
