I said yesterday that I discovered that there is no
support for the digital coded squelch in the Linux software for
the Wouxun KGUV transceivers. I would imagine that the DCS codes
work much like the analog tones except that the codes, of
course, must be different. My plan is to look at the source code
and see if I can figure out how he did the analog tones and then
continue that in to the DCS codes.

Has anybody got one of the binary maps for their Wouxun
that has any DCS codes which were manually entered?

Could I have a copy of the map and also the designation
of which codes they were?

I can probably get a good start from this and then it is
down to mapping human-readible codes such as D162N to some byte
like F3 or D9, etc.

I am familiar with C code, but not C++ as much but I can
probably figure it all out eventually.

Just remember, there is no money in it for us but we
will be leaving the wood pile higher than we found it and that
is what open-source is all about.

	Anyway, many thanks.
