If you are using an external keyer, plug it in to the straightkey jack, not
the paddle jack, which is for the built-in keyer.

Subject: TS-590 question

Hi All
I am trying to get my '590 to work on CW and am having a problem. When I =
plug in my keyer all I get are dots, no dashes. What is the best keyer =
to play nicely with the '590?
Best 73's,
