no transmitters eh?
So you've never used your cell phone, or for that matter, even carried your
cell phone in the car?
Modern cell phones transmit quite often to contact the network.....it's
still a transmitter regardless of how we use the thing.
Like i said, I have two ham friends who have had 4 priasses between them and
have always had dual banders in their cars without a single problem.
Maybe if you had an HT and stuck the antenna right up to one of the main
operating computers it might make it go funky for a second or two...but
again, you'd have to have the antenna right on top of the thing and all that
stuff is hidden away and shielded.
It's kind of like saying you only use solid rubber tires because your afraid
of a blow out causing an accident going down the road at 70.
