Ok well wouldn't any 35 amp power supply run either as have two different
models of power supplies that can use on either as guess neither one comes
with a supply?
Well have used the ts440 for years only on 100 watts and works great for
what need to use it for i.e. traffic handling and occasional qso and dx.
So would the extra 100 watts really make much difference?
That way would get the tuner to use when needed like if had to use it out at
field day or any shelters for emergency communications.
So would I need any special computer interface cable to use the rig through
the computer if can do that?
Thanks.

Don,

The HX is 200 watts and has no tuner. The SAT is 100 watts and has internal
auto tuner. you would need a larger power supply to get 200 watts from the
HX.

The VGS-1 speech board is optional on both. A 9 pin serial connection
is standard. There are slots for up to 2 optional filters. Filters
need to be soldered in.
