Hi Tom.

Please offer my condolences to Kathy and the family next time you correspond
with her. I just sent off a sympathy card. I didn't know Kevin. I sent
him an e-mail off list when I first learned of his situation letting him
know he was in my thoughts and prayers. I've dealt with my share of cancer
over the years. I have lost a nephew and my father to cancer, and had a
scare of my own about 7 years ago. I know several other people who are
dealing with it now as well. It's an evil that definitely needs to be
stopped. From everything I've heard, including from my better half John,
KD8PC, Kevin was a super guy. Also, from what several of you were saying,
he was right around John and my oldest sister's age. It's very sad, but at
least he is now at eternal peace with the Lord. It sounds like he was
willing to go on.

Hello, all.

Well, I guess most of us suspected that the following e-mmail from Kathy
(Kevin's XYL) would come at some point, but that knowledge isn't making
things easy right now.

At least we know that Kevin did not have to endure an endless amount of
suffering, which is a blessing for sure.

Please keep Kevin's XYL and family in your thoughts and prayers during this
most difficult time.
