Hi
      I have the full  size out backer. I put it on a t mag mount. It
performed well that way. I am guessing that it would be just as happy on a
tripod. I wish it were out of storage about now.

Well there's no trees on the property and my land lord is kind of anle and
vary particular over things. So this is why I was thinking of something
portable. I don't think my land lord would mind something left outside the
apartment door, as long as its not permanent, something on a tripod.
