no worries.
if the eyes free document doesn't cover something, the FAQ and other 
sections of the miklor website certainly do.
We joke on the yahoo list that baofeng needs to add a sticker on the back of 
the UV5R that gives the miklor website and the yahoo group information lol.
It would most certainly save allot of frustration from new owners who are 
unaware of those excellent resources.
Or, perhaps something in big block letters on the front of the manual that 
says do not bother with this piece of crap manual, and go directly to the 
miklor.com/uv5R site, after which, join the baofeng_uv5r users group.
Trust me, editing the original manual isn't going to get you very far haha.

We've reached over 10 thousand messages on the uv5R list now by the way, and 
that's only since febuary of this year.
