Hi John,
Well, if you do look into and buy the ldg verticle in the future, my goodness, yes, let us all know how ya like it!
Yeah, I can't remember what my ham friend did with the skurting on his trailler. I think he left it on though. But knowing what you did with your skurting, and radials, I just wonder how good that antenna would have worked on his trailler with radials! And I bet it would have been great!

  LDG didn't make antennas until very recently when they bought an antenna 
  manufacturer. I think they substitute radials with coils of wire of some 
  sort, something I'm interested in looking in to. I ran a lot of radials 
  under my home, being in a trailer, if they want to call it that this thing 
  is never moving, but I got the skirting out of the way  near the antenna and 
  ran radials underneath then put the skirting back  and that seems to have 
  worked out well. Some people store stuff under there but it's not secure so 
  while I have a few things under one section of it, it's not that area so it 
  works out well.
