Hi Tom, 
Thank you for your response. The Chameleon is being considered as a
possible backup at  one of our remote antenna sites. It was brought to my
attention by one of the team members. Had never heard of the chameleon, or
knowledge about it, so thought I would throw it out to the "Blind Hams
Think Tank" to see what they might have to say! :)

I had thought of one of those for my RV HF situation, but my gut feeling is
that the antenna is an all-purpose kind of antenna which seems a bit too
good to be true.

I suspect it may work on all bands as claimed, but likely is not very
efficient on the lower HF bands--say from 40 on down.

However, I am very open to the thoughts of others who may have actually
tried one.
