Dear List:
I am posting a four-star review for a restaurant experience in Times Square:
Chevy's Tex Mex; 8th Ave and 42nd St.

My son and I, both celiac, ordered what we thought was safe food, telling the waiter about our dietary needs. Next thing we knew the kitchen manager was at our table, correcting our order because he knew all the ingredients of everything, (including the fact that beer is used in preparing their black beans) and then assuring that our entire order would be cooked from scratch so as to be free of contamination.

I have never had service like that in all my years in NYC!
