Hello Friends,

I wanted to let you know that the Handiham TechNet was a success last
night. We had an opportunity to talk about many subjects. If you missed
it, Pat Tice (WA0TDA) will be posting the weekly TechNet online soon.

Topics that were discussed last night:

1. Antennas - This seems to be an interesting topic every week and we
will continue to take calls on any topic related to technology.

2. BAOFENG UV-3R Radio - The topic came up about programming this
radio and JAWS accessibility with the software.

3. Best Handi Talkies between $100 and $200 - This was brought up and
there were suggestions

4. DROID phone access from a computer - There was one question about
DROID access from a computer and issues related to that.

5. Cliff Hanger - Well, like every week, there was a cliff hanger.
This week, the cliff hanger sounded complex to me and I know that most of
you will find it incredibly challenging. Listen to the recording and give
me your feedback.

So, what's on the plate for next week? Well, we don't have rules about what
will come next. Next week promises to be another very interesting
discussion about anything and everything having to do with technology.

Come join us and you will see that this TechNet is truly amazing.

The handiham TechNet is on every Thursday at 7 p.m. CDT / 8 p.m. EDT. On
EchoLink, you can hear the Net at *handiham* or node number 494492. If you
would like to listen In with your radio, visit http://www.handiham.org for
frequencies in your area. We can't promise an answer to every question but
we definitely promise a good discussion on any topic.

73,

Jose - KK4JZX
