Public Webinar: Improving Accessibility of Troublesome PDF Files
Sept. 24 at 2 PM Eastern
Presenter: Andrew Downie, SEO, Adaptive Technologies, Australia

For people using assistive technology, PDF files can be a source of
enormous frustration. This presentation will look at the various forms
PDFs can take, what makes some inaccessible and what makes others
potentially very useful. Options for dealing with the troublesome ones,
without resorting to violence, will be offered. By way of injecting some
optimism, benefits of well structured PDFs will be examined. As well as
providing some techniques for dealing with some apparently inaccessible
files, this Webinar will serve as an introduction to the EASI 4-part PDF
Webinar Series to be presented by Karen McCall in October.
