Hi Phil,
I always loved the quote from someone that said something like. Preach
always, and use words only when necessary.

Subject: An Unusual Testimony
Two houses south of our home lived a man and his wife who were drunks and
pot heads and who knows what else they took. Their children, a boy and a
girl, were about the same ages of our kids so they played together a lot.
The boy and girl often played here so we knew them as well as our own
children. They sometimes ate with us, played in our backyard together with
our kids and dogs, and anything else kids all love to do when playing.
Recently, Sandy met the girl while shopping. She was happily married and
introduced her friendly husband to sandy and then she took Sandy's hand and
touched it to each of her children's heads, announcing their names and ages.
Sandy was totally amazed because she was such a lovely little girl as a
child and now, as an adult,. she was quite the lady and mother. Her brother
we have seen once and awhile and he is the same way; kind and friendly and a
good young man. They both told our kids recently, when they were seen at
the shopping maul, that they decided to be good parents and friendly to all
because their parents were drunks and pot heads and they said we always
treated them so nicely and share things with them that they wanted to grow
up and be like us. I could hardly believe it. I had no idea we had such an
effect upon them both but praise God we did.
Phil.
