Jim,

Not sure they can tell you what  is on your radio, but the last firmware 
update is 1.04 from Nov. 2008.

You can bring up the version number on the display if you have a pair of 
eyes  to read it.

you can click on the link for the firmware update program for the 480 
and see a list of  what was added in each update, as well as full 
instructions.
