Mike,
It's a great old rig, alright. Only this one has no CW filter, just
sideband. It was kinda like working 2 meter A M with a lunchbox and that
regen receiver. I heard my contact plus everything around him. And of
course, the band was crowded. And using a straight key after 40 years away
from one can be a humbling experience indeed! But good to get out of the
comfort zone a little.
