Hi Harvey,

To check what keyboard you have, press insert + N for NVDA menu, P for
preferences, K for keyboard and the default setting is a combo box that
allows you to choose between desktop and laptop. In this dialogue, you also
will find settings for the modifier (either insert or caps lock) whether to
use the extended insert key and so on.

Remember to Press insert + N for NVDA followed by S to save the new
configuration if you like the changes.

As far as I know, it is set up for desk top use, but how do you check that?
And if he has to use the Caps lock key for navigation, does that mean he
can't use it for caps lock purposes when he may need to?
Harvey
