To be honest, I upgraded for 2 reasons, number one, I wanted to be able to
go anywhere on the ham bands and not worry about staying in my privileges.
Number Two, just to be an extra. Nothing more than that, I just wanted to be
an extra. Fact is, I know extras that couldn't build or figure out
anything's workings. I'm still learning all the time as I go and figuring
out the technical side was more a choice. I could easily have studied the
info, passed the test and forgot it or I could be one who people wonder how
I ever passed. Learning and working on equipment and what not, that was all
a choice and I was doing that from day one.
