I worked a few qrp stations on 40 meters and one with the new elecraft kx-3 
running 10 watts. It sounded a bit narrower than I'd want to sound but he 
could have been off frequency, everyone was a bit high to me after they 
switched my radio out due to another one having more filters. I think that 
radio may have been a bit off transmit frequency though the rit and xit were 
off, it's the same radio as I have for a backup radio and had there so I 
know it well. Next year if I bring it back it will have the optional filters 
in it
