Hi there,
I'm not getting lost!
Look folks, if we're ham operators, then let's talk like ham radio operators.
I don't know how you all feel, but what really bugs me as well is, when we're on the air, and hams, not as much newbees, but hams who have been hams for God knows how long, don't act like it, those people should be confronted.
Even though we're not on the air, at the moment, it's still important, that we use the ham lingo.
This 73s crap is not ham like.
73,
Trippy, ac8s

  HI all,
  Please, can we stop with the 73's?
  We're suppose to be hams here, not chicken banders.
  I'm not alone, when it comes to that, either.
  A very well known ham, nationally, has this pet peeve as well, and I =
  also do.
  This is not cb, this is ham radio, and if you're gonna be a ham, talk =
  the talk!

    Hi Howard,

    This is Howard #3.

    About 4 years ago I renewed my license on the FCC website and I didn't =
  =3D
    have=3D20
    any trouble. There site is very accessible.

    Before you can use their Universal Licensing System, you need to get =
  an =3D
    ID=3D20
    number from them. This also can be done online and the number will =
  be=3D20
    e-mailed to you immediately.

    If you are reasonably proficient at filling out forms online, this =
  whole =3D

    process can be completed in less than half an hour at most.

    On a scale of 1 (easy) to 10 (hard) this exercise is about a 3 in =
  my=3D20
    opinion.

    The hardest thing is to figure out what website to go to.

    If anyone is interested, I will look up the address and post it here.

    If you are able to get an Amateur license than you are smart enough to =
  =3D
    renew=3D20
    it independently.

    73's
