At first I didn't think we would be able to hold the net on 14258. There
was a surprisingly loud Japanese station on the frequency, generating a
small U.S. pileup. I think the band conditions changed or he QSY'ed before
2000Z, so we were able to get started with a clear frequency. Thank you to
KG4ITD and KD5YC for relaying some stations, or at least trying to pick up
some more business. Signal strengths varied over a wide range, and most of
the people who checked in were hearing me. N1LR in Houston, Texas was a new
blind op who found us and checked in. A number of stations just wanted to
